Hardwood Installation

Classic beauty, built to last. Premium oak, maple, walnut, hickory and exotic species installed with surgical precision and sealed for lifetime durability.

Overview

Real wood. Real character.

Nothing matches the warmth, depth and resale value of a properly installed hardwood floor. We work with both solid and engineered hardwood, selecting board widths, grades and species to match your home's character.

Our installers handle subfloor prep, moisture testing, acclimation, nailing, gluing and finishing — every step done by hand, by people who've done this for over a decade.

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a hardwood install take?
A typical 800–1,200 sqft project takes 3–5 working days plus 3–7 days for wood acclimation beforehand. Refinishing adds 2–3 days.
Solid vs engineered — which should I choose?
Solid hardwood is timeless and can be refinished many times. Engineered works better over concrete or radiant heat. We'll recommend based on your subfloor and lifestyle.
Can you install over an existing floor?
Sometimes yes (over tile, vinyl, or concrete with the right prep). Carpet always needs to go. We'll evaluate during the free estimate visit.
How long until I can walk on it?
Light foot traffic in socks: 24 hours. Furniture: 48–72 hours. Area rugs: 2 weeks for full cure.
